Our first St Francis Country Fair was held on the 28th of October, 2016 and it was spectacular!
The Country Fair brought together students, staff, families and friends of our school in a celebration of community that beautifully captured our St Francis of Assisi way of life.
Months and months of planning from many dedicated and inspired people complemented our whole community enthusiasm, glorious spring weather, and a fun loving crowd who enjoyed the activities, the animals, the low prices and the food and produce on offer.
Thanks to the generosity of the community in the lead up, and on the night, we raised just over $4000 which is a remarkable effort for our first Fair! This money will be used to upgrade our student waiting area at the drop off/pick up lane to improve the safety, weather protection and flow through for students and families.
Thank you to all who worked hard, shared their skills or talents, donated raffle prizes or other items requested, prepared activities, volunteered their time in any way prior to the fair or on the night, or those who made time to come and enjoy the Fair. Many people made this dream come true and every contribution was truly appreciated.
