St Francis of Assisi Primary School Wodonga was previously known as Frayne College. This name change took place at the end of 2015.
St Francis of Assisi Primary School was founded in 2005. The school started with one schoolhouse, sixty-three students and seven staff. The foundation Co-principals were Ms Christine Telford and Mr Gary Hawkey. St Francis of Assisi Primary School Wodonga grew steadily each year since its inception. There is now approximately 150 students, several new school buildings and many new staff. Previous students have gone on to great success at further secondary and tertiary education.
The St Francis of Assisi Primary School grounds have also developed over the years reflecting the hard work and sustainable values of the school community. From pasture land to a thriving natural regeneration project including native trees, shrubs, wetland project and nature trail the natural history is developing successfully alongside the community and infrastructure.
